10 Dollars
I spoke to the Detective this morning. This week is not nearly as encouraging as last week. They thought they had a lead, but it became a dead end as the week wore on.
Someone knows what happened. They think that Corey was just a random victim. That it wasn’t anyone he knew. That Corey just happened to be out and alone walking, and someone tried to rob him. Then when he fought back, they panicked, and stabbed him.
Once this happened, they ran without getting his money (by the way, he only had 10 dollars on him) or cell phone.
So my son was murdered for nothing. NOTHING.
No one was angry with him. He didn’t commit any crime. There was no motive… except for the 10 dollars he had in his backpack.
Whomever did this, I want you to know – you will be found. Count your days.
Someone saw you. Someone saw the blood on your hands. Someone saw you run from the scene.
That “someone” will come forward.
We will keep adding money to the reward fund, and pretty soon they will come to the realization that even though you thought my son’s life was worth $10…. Your life isn’t worth anything now. So they might as well get the reward money, and improve their own situation.
