Here I sit, scrolling through my news feed. A football player’s son was beaten to death. A woman in Kansas was killed because a man didn’t want to get a speeding ticket… on and on the tragedies continue.

Today, we are going door to door in our “neighborhood” knocking on doors and asking for any information that might still be out there. We will also be searching the woods that aren’t too far from here (and yes, we have a metal detector!).

Today will not be part of our tragedy.
Today will be part of our reclaiming control in our lives.
Today someone’s eyes will be opened, someone will become involved in making a change.
