I walked into the kitchen, and there were Corey and my sister Cathy. They were making me breakfast as a surprise… sausage and fried potatoes.

They were laughing and teasing each other the way they always did. Corey looked at me and smiled.

Then he showed me a picture of him being promoted at work. I hugged him and told him I was proud.
