Go that extra mile!

I have Corey’s picture as my wallpaper on my phone. It has been there since the day he died.

So yesterday we brought my phone to the T mobile store. It’s been using the battery too quickly.

The technician that helped me starts pushing buttons, and proclaimed my problem was the theme needed to be updated.

And with that he proceeded to update the theme and erased Corey’s picture!!

I looked at him and asked, “Did you just erase my son’s picture?”

He said, “Yeah…”

I looked him in the eye and said, “You mean you just deleted my murdered son’s picture off of my phone?”

His reply was,”Well, yeah! It needed to be updated. Don’t you have the picture somewhere else? You can just download it!”

He missed the point!

If you are someone dealing with people, be observant! You don’t know what others are going through!

If a 49 year old walks in with a picture of a 22 year old man on her phone, and it’s obviously not the man she walked in with… there MIGHT be some significance! You don’t have to be a genius to get this! Additionally what if I didn’t have it saved?

Sometimes “just doing your job” isn’t enough.
