The seminar aims to familiarize and demystify the individuals and entities one might come across following a homicide. We believe in empowering through knowledge, and our sessions are designed to help you regain control.
The seminar has five sessions, each session will focus on a unique topic.
Session 1 – G is getting to know the services in the Metro KC area.
As our guests, we have representatives from a group to explain their programs.
Session 2 – R is for Reporters
Media representatives will be our guests.
Session 3 – I is for Investigation
Our guests will be detectives, advocates, and law enforcement representatives.
Session – E is for Enforcement
Prosecutors, advocates, and probation/parole representatives will be our guests.
Session – F is for Forward or Moving Forward
We will discuss what changes you can make to move forward.
Participation is voluntary, and you are welcome to join the sessions that pique your interest.
The seminar is held Wednesday at 6 p.m. at 31 W. 31st, Kansas City, MO 64108.
All sessions are available on Zoom for those who cannot attend in person.
