Bio – Leslie Watkins
Dr. Leslie Watkins is originally from the southeast corner of Kansas, a small town called Neodesha. During her youth she enjoyed growing up in the farming community and living on the family farm. She has spent many years playing a variety of sports, including softball at a very competitive level for many years..
Dr. Watkins received her Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Pittsburg State University in 1993 that lead to her years in the public educational system. She spent a year substitute teaching followed by a year of teaching history and social science while assistant coaching several sports in southern Missouri.
Doc moved out of teaching and into the medical world where she was the office manager of several offices for more than 12 years before deciding to go to Chiropractic College. She is a 2008 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College of Overland Park, where she earned the Clinical Excellency Award and the Clinical Service Award.
Doc teaches Human Science courses at two local community colleges in the Kansas City area. Helping students prepare for their future careers is another interest in which she invests her time.
