Reentry Programs

12th Street Heritage – Twelfth Street Heritage Development Corporation (TSHDC) is on a mission to improve the quality of life for residents of Kansas City’s most challenged urban neighborhoods: safer, cleaner streets; attractive and affordable homes; thriving businesses; inviting parks and playgrounds; neighbors who know each other.

The Prison-to-Workforce Pipeline program has become a critical reentry and re-socialization tool that connects ex-offenders with civic leaders, police representatives, business owners and elected officials to facilitate their reentry into society. The Prison to Workforce Pipeline program is more than the reentry program it was originally envisioned to be, it’s
changing the face of the community.
